Description
Cyrus Libby of Gorham wrote to George Patrick in Gorham, commenting on life in the Army, men who were homesick and wanted to leave, potential new recruits who he hoped were brave.
At the end of the letter, he wrote about Bull Run that "I never saw so much fun in all of my life."
He signed the letter, "The little runt Cyrus S. Libby."
Libby was a solider in Co. A of the Maine 5th Infantry Regiment.
