Description
The Blackwater Camps on the Saint Croix Stream in Aroostook County around 1900. Once owned by Mr. Kadwallander and later owned by George Junkins. The three men in the canoe may be Bert Pollard, Ted Ambrose, and Mr. Kadwallander. Three animals killed by a hunting party are strung up between the two cabins to the right.
The St. Croix Stream runs from St. Croix Lake in St. Croix township to the Aroostook River in Masardis.
