Description
Sheridan Mill, owned by the Ashland Mill Company (Stetson, Cutler and Redman) on the Aroostook River. Sheridan Mountain is in the background. The mill was later sold to Fraser, a Canadian Company, then still later transferred to Great Northern Paper (GNP). The lumber produced by the mill was marketed as far away as Europe. The mill was closed in 1921.
