Description
The Ashland Mill Company on the Aroostook River, Sheridan. The saw mill operated two band saws which produced 60,000 to 70,000 board feet of lumber per day. The shingle mill, located below the saw mill, produced 250,000 shingles per day. Sheridan Mountain is in the background.
