Description
Anne Longfellow Pierce (1810-1901) in the house where she grew up on Congress Street in Portland. She lived in the house as a child, then moved back in 1835 after her husband of three years, George W. Pierce, died.
She was the sister of the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and the daughter of Zilpah Wadsworth and Stephen Longfellow.
