Description
William J. Curtis (1854-1927), a native of Brunswick, at left, holds his grandson, William Curtis Pierce (1906-2003). At the rear is Curtis's daughter, Katharine R. Curtis Pierce (1882-1970), and at right is Letitia Ann Bammer Curtis (1829-1909), Curtis' mother.
Curtis' father was Capt. John Curtis of Brunswick. In 1905, Katharine Curtis married Henry Hill Pierce, a native of Portland. They lived in Baldwin after their retirement.
