Description
The exterior of the First Parish Church on Congress Street in Portland. The church was built starting in 1825 and dedicated in February 1826, replacing a church built in 1740 that was known as Old Jerusalem.
Several items from the old church were saved, including the tower clock, bell, gallery clock, and weathervane.
The church was renovated in 1907.
