Description
Corner view of the house at 151 Broadway in Bangor with a lady standing by the porch, a gentleman standing further down the porch, and a carriage on Cumberland Street.
Originally designed by Charles G. Bryant for John A. French and built in 1833-34 the house is a five-bay design 39 feet across the front and an overall length of 68 feet. The roof has a parapet surrounding that features both Federal and Italianate designs. This house also features many other distinctive styles of architecture both inside and out, Greek Revival, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Gothic Revival to name a few.
