Description
This photograph looks southwest along the state highway leading out of Lubec. Located at the Ridge, the junction with North Lubec Road appears at the right. The entrance to Maple Tree Road is hidden by the machines and trucks. The Water and Light Company is working on installing the water line. The line crew probably had to disconnect and drop the service for the steam shovel to work. The Baptist Church complex is visible behind the machinery. Both this and the houses on the left and right remain in place as of 2010.
