Description
Two views of Mt. Kineo House with penciled-in architectural sketches.
John Calvin Stevens was commissioned to make renovations to the Mt. Kineo House on Moosehead Lake. These two photographs show some of the planned changes to the building.
The Ricker family, which owned the Poland Spring Resort, operated the Mt. Kineo House after the Maine Central Railroad bought the resort in 1911.
The Mt. Kineo House was built in 1870 after an earlier hotel burned.
