Description
Moise Cartier, Saco brick worker, widely known as "Moses Quarter, came to work in Biddeford from Canada in 1850. Mr. Cartier worked in the brickyards for many years. His last home was on the Lower Ferry Road in Saco. He was about eighty-four when this picture was taken. Mr. Cartier lived to be more than ninety-five years old. He died in 1924.
