Description
This house was the home of Dr. Eben Homer Bennet (1848-1944). He practiced medicine in Lubec and also Campobell Island from 1876 into old age when he shared practice with his son, Dr. DaCosta Bennet. He was also active in community affairs including the high school. The house, at 18 Main Street, remains occupied as the Inn at the Anchorage Bed & Breakfast as of 2011.
