Description
A parade, probably of patients and staff, at the Maine State Sanatorium in Hebron in about 1912. The event might have been July 4 as the tuberculosis-treatment facility often held events on that day.
Some patients were not allowed to walk very far, while others, depending on their condition, could exercise around the grounds on Greenwood Mountain.
