Description
George M. Howe of Portland made this daguerreotype of an unidentified man wearing a striped vest.
Howe had rooms at 112 Middle Street. In 1854, he was awarded a silver medal for a case of his daguerreotypes shown at the Maine Charitable Mechanic Association Exhibition and Fair.
