Description
Three generations of the Moore family meet on Cascade Pond during ice harvesting. Fred Moore sits in his sleigh, his son Arthur Moore, Sr. stands behind and 3 year old Arthur Moore, Jr. stands in the foreground. Fred Moore owned the Knickerbocker Ice House on Sheppard's Point before the business moved to Cascade Pond. Arthur Moore, Sr., cut ice on the pond until the late 1940s and Arthur, Jr., delivered ice to local homes and businesses before he served in World War II.
