Description
An interior view of the Portland Theater located on 11 Preble Street above the George C. Shaw Co. store.
The theater opened on February 14, 1910 and could seat 1,000 for motion pictures or theatrical productions.
It was known as the "new" Portland Theater, replacing the former Portland Theater located next door, but later named the Nickel.
