Wheelbarrow race, Scarborough, 1920

Description

Portland Kiwanis Club members race wheelbarrows at the club's outing at Eagles Nest in Scarborough.

They participated in a number of games, had a clambake, and went to Old Orchard Beach for airplane rides.

Prizes given out at these games included a Kiwanis pencil, a 10 lb. bag of sugar, wool soap, a silk necktie, a fancy billiard cue, a sack of potatoes, a can of graham crackers, and a cut glass vase.
