Description
Naval officers Commodore Jose Manoel de Carvalho, Rear Admiral E.W. Erbele, Rear Admiral Allan F. Everett and Captain P.F. Olmstead pose in front of Portland City Hall during the Maine Centennial Celebration in 1920.
Naval vessels from Portugal, San Gabriel; Britain, Calcutta; Japan Kasuga; and the United States, Utah were present.
This photograph was on page six of the Tuesday, June 29, 1920 issue of the Portland Evening Express.
