Description
The Portland Kiwanis, a men's civic organization formed in 1917, held their second annual outing on the banks of the Scarborough River in August 1920. They feasted on a clambake dinner and participated in games and competitions. Alton Cropley, a Portland business owner, won the ladder climb, along with the $1 first prize.
The August 13th edition of the Portland Evening Express chronicled the second annual outing of the Portland Kiwanis Club.
