Description
Postcard view of the Channel Lighthouse at low tide. Built in 1890, this cast iron "sparkplug" type light was automated in 1939. It was constructed to guide vessels through the Lubec Narrows. Now privately owned, the light and fog signal remain active Coast Guard aids to navigation.
