Description
The Perkins-Deering House, 483 Pool Road (483 Sokokis Drive) was the home of Captain John Perkins in 1830, but undoubtedly did not have the dormer window and trellises then. In later years the house was the home of Edward M. Deering, Biddeford's famous writing master who served the schools for more than forty years. The date of the original building is not known.
