Description
An image of Mellie Dunham, "Maine's Champion Fiddler," is on the cover of the sheet music for the "Rippling Waves Waltz" that Dunham composed.
The music is the version Dunham performed on the Keith Circuit.
Dunham (1853-1931) was a fiddler and snowshoe maker in Norway, Maine.
He inscribed the front of the sheet music "To Napoleon Dufresne with Best Wishes from Mellie Dunham, Norway, Maine, May 29, 1929."
