Description
Fred H. Winslow of Randolph dedicated his "Kennebec March" with the notation "Respectfully dedicated to my friend Kate Vannah."
Vannah (1855-1933) was a poet and songwriter who lived in Gardiner.
H.S. Winslow of Randolph, the father of Fred H., published the music in 1902. Fred Winslow, born in 1874, died in 1898. His image appears on the cover of the sheet music as does an image of the steamer Kennebec on the Kennebec River.
