Description
Two men stage a fight. Charles E. Moody, the photographer, was born in Saco in 1859 and moved to Newark, New Jersey as a young teenager. He became active in the local amateur camera club while living in New Jersey. The cities and towns on the Saco, however, remained a personal and artistic touchstone for him. He brought his camera with him on extended summer vacations to his hometown. Around 1913 he returned to Saco permanently. This image may have been taken in New Jersey or Maine.
