Description
Members of the Stenographers' Group of the Portland Business and Professional Women's Club posed for a photo during a picnic they held July 31, 1931 at the home of group member Bertha Sturgis at Thornton Heights in South Portland.
Present at the picnic were Anna Hanson, Margaret Delavina, Edith Dill, Cleora Reed, Lula Woodard, Margaret Norton, Lottie Hawkes, Helen Libby, Helen Ayer, Mildred Sampson, Lida E. Libby, Eulalie Davis, Elsie Mann, Adelaide Lambert, Willa Thompson, Dora Corliss, Blanche Corliss, Winifred Little, Katherine Hamlin, Zelma Hamlin, Katherine Werner, Gladys Gilman, Sophia MacDonald, Katherine Chase, Dr. Ruth K. Emery and Florence Best.
