Description
This photo, taken from the corner of Pleasant and Main Streets in Lubec looking roughly north, shows a building once called the “American House.” At the far right, on the opposite side of Water Street where Main Street ends, appears the Mowry Building, as of 2011 the Water Street Tavern and Restaurant. All other structures in this image are gone.
