Description
"Velvet Hotel on fire August [15], 1907. This hotel was built and owned by H. Hildreth who also manufactured a molasses candy called 'kisses.' The candy was wrapped in red and yellow paper and the hotel was painted red and yellow to match."
This is a postcard addressed to Mrs. George McArthur, sent from Saco in April of 1909.
The front of the postcard reads "Old Orchard on Fire. Aug. 15, '07. Copyright '07. By A. Armstrong."
