Description
Biddeford's first High School, Washington Street, Biddeford, circa 1910. This school was built in 1848 as the public High School in Biddeford. When a new high school was built in 1890 on Alfred Street, this became a grammar school and was then known as the Washington Street School. It was demolished in the 1960s to make way for a parking lot.
