Description
Albert S. Twitchell of Bethel was 23 when he enlisted as quartermaster sergeant of the 7th Maine Light Artillery Battery on Dec. 30, 1863.
He was promoted to full private and mustered out in June 1865. On the card is written, "City Point, Virginia" and "Bethel, Maine."
