Description
Nathan Goold (1846-1914) was the librarian at Maine Historical Society from 1906 until his death in 1914.
He wrote works on Portland history and family genealogies, and had worked as a machinist at the Portland Company and as a clothing salesman.
He belonged to the Portland Fraternity Club, the Maine Genealogical Society, and the Maine Sons of the American Revolution.
