Description
The Marsh sisters were the daughters of Reverend John Lewis Marsh, a Unitarian minister for 40 years. The Milliken sisters were daughters of W. Silas Milliken of Saco. This photograph was taken at Gardner and Philbuck's photography studio in Biddeford in about 1895. All were neighbors on Beach Street in Saco. Left to right, Winifred Marsh, born in 1875, her sister, Genenieve Marsh, born in 1873, her friend Alice Milliken, born in 1872, and her sister, Susan Milliken, born in 1874.
