Description
Harris Isaacson (1897-1983), who moved from Vilna, Russia, to America as a baby in 1898, became one of the first Jewish lawyers in Androscoggin County. He also was a municipal court judge.
He was naturalized in 1899 and his wife, Goldie Resnick, also from Russia, was naturalized in 1904.
He attended Bates College for one semester, then went to Georgetown University to study law.
