Description
A postcard showing a view from the water of the casino at Cape Porpoise. The casino was developed as a middle-class resort by the Atlantic Shore Line Railway. The interior of the building was spartan, with folding chairs and temporary tables. There were four dining rooms, two private and two public. A seafood dinner could be had for fifty cents. The casino burned down in 1915.
