Description
Mildred Burrage (1890-1983) of Kennebunkport is on scaffolding working on a mural she created at the new Science Library at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania.
The large panels over the fireplaces at each end of the library in the new science building were to feature chemistry and geology.
She is working on the chemistry end, showing early ways of depicting the sun, elements, and planets.
