Description
Artist Mildred Burrage of Kennebunkport wrote a report to Mrs. Fraser of the Women's Personnel Department at the New England Shipbuilding Corp. in South Portland about posters she had created to encourage safety in dress among women employees.
The report is an onion-skin carbon copy of the original.
The "fashion" safety posters were placed in women's restrooms at the shipyard.
