Description
This black and white image was taken in October 1911 on Lake Cobbosseecontee. The lighthouse on Belle Island, dedicated in 1910, was called Turtle Rock Light.
Many of the images in the Barnes collection, of which this is one, were photographed by George W. Barnes, who may have photographed this lighthouse.
