Description
The illustration of the spring 1928 dress style, "Argentine," came from a Paris fashion house, probably Laure Dupré of Christiane.
Like most such hand-drawn illustrations, it has fabric swatches attached and shows both front and back of the dress.
Mildred Burrage (1890-1983) of Kennebunkport, who had studied and worked in Paris before World War I, had a number of line drawings of Paris fashions among her belongings, but they probably were sent initially to another woman.
