Description
A fall 1929 Paris fashion design shows the front and back of the dress and includes fabric samples.
A note on the drawing reads, "Dressy afternoon or informal Dinner dress of black & white neck & cuffs embroidered in pink in a solid close patterns of beads & sequins." Added at the bottom is "Very becoming."
Such designs were sent to potential customers who could choose among styles and fabrics when they ordered from the Paris firms. Mildred Burrage of Kennebunkport had a number of similar fashion line drawings among her belongings.
