Description
Benjamin A. Osborn from Lincoln enlisted in the 1st Maine Cavalry October 19, 1861 at the age of 19 as a saddler.
He served until August 1, 1865, progressing through the ranks to sergeant, 2nd lieutenant and 1st lieutenant.
