Description
In the 1950s Sherman Denbow capitalized Denbow Fisheries, Inc. for $100,000 to deal in a number of seafood products including Fuzzy Wuzzy cat food. A factory, boiler plant and warehouse were located on the shore behind the Forewinds House on Main Street, which still stands as of 2011. Later a Lubec factory under different ownership canned the Puss ’n Boots brand of cat food.
