Description
The building in the foreground is identified as the Trefethen House, the oldest house on Monhegan Island.
Henry Trefethen was one of the original purchasers of Monhegan Island. The house served as a hotel for island visitors when this postcard was produced.
The Island Inn also is visible in the left distance.
