Description
Linda Tatelbaum and her husband, Kal Winer, purchased land in Appleton in 1977 to get "back to the land."
Tatlebaum wrote Carrying Water as a Way of Life: a Homesteader's History in 1997 describing their experiences building a solar house and raising their own food.
