Description
Dr. Eben Homer Bennet (June 20, 1848-August 31, 1944) began practicing medicine in Lubec in 1876. He frequently served medical needs of Campobello Island residents, including the Franklin Roosevelt family. He delivered their son Franklin Jr. in August, 1914, and was the first physician to attend his polio-stricken father Franklin Delano Roosevelt in August, 1921.
