Description
About a mile west of Lubec village, the short Diamond Point Road runs north from what became Route 189. Labelled “Most Eastern Auto Camp in U.S.A.” the site in the postcard view must have been among the earliest auto camps as well considering the estimated date. North Lubec is visible in the distance across the water, at that time still with numerous farms and fish factories.
