Description
The Portland Company of Portland, Maine issued a series of Christmas cards in the 1960s showing some of the locomotives built by the company in the late 1800s. This card says, "Built for the Grand Trunk Railway in 1871 by the Portland Company, Portland, Maine."
On the reverse of this Christmas card is, "Exact copy of 1871 colored drawing for Grand Trunk Engine No. 138, Portland Company No. 181."
