Description
Eben Colby bought this property and built the sawmill with a partner in 1859. They manufactured wood products including doors, clapboards, lathe and sashes.
The property at the lower end of Maine Street in Brunswick near the bridge was known as the Perry Privelege. On the back of this stereograph is written, "On bank of river in Brunswick Colby Mills."
