Description
The process of landing recently harvested sardines has drawn a large crowd to the Eastern Steam Ship Company wharf on the left.
This view dramatizes the wide range of the Bay of Fundy tides. Campobello Island lies in the distance, beyond the breakwater largely exposed because of low tide. Both large buildings to the right bear Seacoast Canning Company signs.
