Description
John W. G. Dunn of Philadelphia captured mundane aspects of camp life in photographs during his many camping expeditions into the Maine north woods in the 19th century.
These expeditions often lasted a month or more and camp members had to do their own laundry.
This is Charles Bullen Dunn on a Sunday, in a photo John Dunn entitled, "One of the ways we celebrate Sunday."
