Description
This pine box is in the shape of a book with veneered, inlaid patterns. On the spine are diamond inlays with label-like "David Poor." [compass star], "1862." Glued inside the lid is a news clipping about the death of an employee of Poor's. David Poor's wife made two quilts with this same pattern, also owned by the Maine Historical Society.
