Description
The “Methodist Episcopal Church” was built ca. 1844-45 on Lubec’s School Street. This photo shows the church after a major rebuild in 1899. It would receive another facelift in 1912. Note the combination working and decorative shutters on the side. Handwritten on back, “Methodist Church at Lubec Maine 1907 B S Fifield pastor” The vacant building still stands as of 2011.
